Halo Braid is an automated hair braiding system designed for professional salons and stylists. Traditional box braiding can take four to eight hours per client, making it costly for customers and physically demanding for braiders whose capacity is ultimately limited by time and fatigue.

Spatial Dynamics was brought in to rethink the user experience and industrial design, creating a system that could automate repetitive work while preserving the stylist's control over tension, technique, and finish.
