Volta Labs is a cutting-edge scientific technology company specializing in genomic innovation. Volta asked Spatial to design the enclosure and user experience strategy for Volta's groundbreaking commercial DNA extraction machine, Callisto.

As one of the design leads, I was pivotal in setting the user experience strategy and shaping the aesthetic vision for Callisto. I also manage the project and communications from the initial project pitch all the way to the first production ready prototype. This involved overseeing project milestones, coordinating communications, and ensuring a seamless integration of design and functionality.

Collaborating closely with Volta's team, we navigated the challenges of a demanding timeline to deliver a fully functional enclosure and a custom-designed labware set.
